Environmental Printing
Abba Litho Sales Ltd, a printing company with some 40% of its sales attributable to the Body
Shop, is understandably interested in environmental management. After a number of meetings
Statius have been commissioned to assist Abba with an environmental review.
The key objectives of the environmental review, the first stage in developing a full
environmental management system, are:
- to highlight the products and materials consumed
- to look for more environmentally friendly products and materials
- to reduce costs in the process
To do this Statius are presently auditing supplier invoices to establish volumes and types
of products and materials used last year. Once the base information has been established
we are looking forward to analysing the information and making recommendations on how we might
improve.
